Whence cometh a choice…

20 Apr

Day Five will see the tired but exhilarated hikers heading down into the tourist mecca of Cortina, 1956 site of the Winter Olympics. Here we have a choice of following the Val di Fanes or the Val Travenanzes. I don’t know if that is an easy or difficult decision for the group when both choices are beautiful. We will now be in view of the Tofane peaks and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

Option 1 Val di Fanes

Option 2 Val Travenanzes

Which would you choose?

And then we approach Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Difficult decision but I would go with 2. Either one is incredibly beautiful so it’s a win-win situation. Hope you are enjoying every moment.

Well how exactly are you supposed to chose between these two? I guess on the plus side, either will be lovely.

My guess is the group will decide on length of hike or difficulty rating.

That’s true, I guess it will depend on where everyone is mentally at that point on the trip too. I guess it is possible that it really won’t be a hard choice when you are actually in the moment.
