Today my big packet arrived with the hike itinerary and my official hike T-shirt. So excited.

Then I looked through all the information and checked out the hotels where we will be staying. Oh, my God! When I saw our accommodations, I started crying. This is going to happen. This is real! The first two nights we’ll stay at the 4-star Hotel Grones in Ortisei (St. Ulrich) in the Val Gardena.

The next two nights we’ll will make our home at the Hotel Garni Belair (3-star) in Colfosco.

And they all have wi-fi.  How cool is that?! I am so excited that my vocabulary has reverted back to junior high.

  16. bobmielke May 2, 2013 at 3:24 pm #

I’m glad you stopped by my blog to take a peek. I’m about to turn 64 in a week and still quite physically active. Both my parents were born & raised in Castrop-Rauxel, Germany before coming to the United States as teens, meeting each other & marrying all in the same month. I have never been to Europe but have met one member of my family that was still living in Germany. My mother, maiden name Daniels, was one of 11 & my father, last name, Mielke, was one of 14. I wish you the best in your new journey in life. – Bob
